29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized: a) Shop 51A Main Floor; On or about November 6, 2018, employees were subjected to 95-96 decibels of noise (on the A weighted scale, 8 hour time weighted average) while testing a submarine ventilation fan. Engineering and/or administrative controls were not in place to reduce noise exposure.
