29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:   a.  Rotary K-Cup Filling and Sealing Machine #2 (Mfr. Socafe, Inc.) - On or about October 1, 2018, the points of operation for the filler and sealer stations were not guarded to prevent employees from having their hands and fingers in the danger zones during operation.  Employees were exposed to crushing, laceration and amputation hazards.   b.  Package Sealer Machines - On or about October 1, 2018 through October 12, 2018, the points of operation on two package sealing machines were not guarded to prevent employees from getting their fingers in the ingoing nip points between the sealing rollers.  Employees were exposed to fracture, laceration and amputation hazards.   Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
