29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems: (a) Jobsite- 125 Apple Blossom Way, Coraopolis, PA: On or about October 16, 2018, workers were accessing a 6/12 pitched roof measuring approximately 32 feet from the ground to the eave of the roof, without being protected from fall hazards. An employee slipped from the pitch of the roof, sliding approximately 30 feet to the eave of the roof, and then fell approximately 32 feet to the ground below.
