29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) West 8th St., Ship Bottom, NJ: on or about 10/16/18 Rooster Construction Corp. employees were conducting framing activities on a large 4 story new construction hotel. The employees were installing truss bracing and were not using any form of fall protection, thus exposing them to a fall hazard of greater than 30 feet to the ground below.
