29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: a) 21430 Rudder Lane (Sussex County Airport Maintenance Garage/Combined Services Building), Georgetown, DE - On or about October 19, 2018, the employer failed to ensure employees conducting steel erection activities more than 15 above a lower level were protected from falling by any means of fall protection. First State Fabrication, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 991496, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 09/23/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 160 N. Gulph Road, King of Prussia, PA.
