29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee use appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors or potentially injurious light radiation.    a) At the site: On or about October 30, 2018 the employer did not ensure employees performing roofing with pneumatic nail guns used appropriate eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    a) At the site, on or about October 30, 2018, employees conducting roof work on a steep roof at heights greater than  6 feet were not protected by a fall protection system.    Andazola Remodeling was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1322020, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on July 3, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2240 N. Padre Island Dr., Corpus Christi, TX  78465.
