29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: A) J.H. Routh Packing Company, located at 4413 West Bogart Road, Sandusky, OH 44870: On or about October 22, 2018, the employer did not ensure that periodic inspections of the energy control procedures for the cutting wheels at the Casing Line were conducted at least annually. Employees did not follow all the steps required for the control of the hazardous energy sources prior to conducting activities such as, but not limited to, unjamming the casing from the cutting wheels. Employees were exposed to hazards that could result in personal injuries while all hazardous energy sources were not controlled prior to performing these tasks.

Employees were exposed to hazards that could result in personal injuries while all hazardous energy sources were not controlled prior to conducting work.
