Detachable side protectors (e.g. clip-on or slide-on side shields) meeting the pertinent requirements of this section are acceptable.  West side of new residential construction:  On or about November 1, 2018, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards from flying objects, while using a Makita LXT Driver Drill without safety glasses.
