29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladders were not used at an angle such that the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder was approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and the top support). JOBSITE: The horizontal distance from the top support to the feet of the Werner 24-foot aluminum extension ladder was greater than one-quarter (1/4) of the working length of the ladder.

The same Principal under a different company name, LP Roofing and Siding LLC was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health standard {29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13)}, which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1268282, Citation Number 01, Item Number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/17/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 150 White Rock Drive, Windsor, CT 06095.
