29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(iv): Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms when they were not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use: a) Employee(s) stood atop a wood pallet elevated 10 feet above the ground on the forks of an Ingersoll Rand telescopic all-terrain forklift during work to secure steel beam as part steel framing of a new building under construction at 475 Smith Street in Perth Amboy NJ. This improvised work platform is open-sided, with no means of securing it to the carriage, and is not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use. Condition(s) were noted on or about 10/04/2018.
