A mixture of grease, carbon black and other items were on the floor around the mixer.  The Banbury mixer warning signs, dangers signs and labels, if any, were obscured by a thick coat of grease and carbon black.  The grease on the outside of Banbury mixer could constitute a fire hazard if electrical parts overheat or moving parts overheat due to friction.
