29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: a) Jobsite: On November 1, 2018 and at times prior thereto; employer did not ensure that its siding employees were protected from electrical hazards; electrical cords attached to a radial saw, Skilsaw, and powerbox were found frayed and/or inadequately repaired. b) Outdoors: On November 1, 2018 and at times prior thereto; equipment operators used a DeWalt radial saw and Skilsaw to cut and rip Silica containing HardiePlank siding, but engineering controls were not in place, and a dust cloud was visible around the employee.
