29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. On or about November 7, 2018, at the construction site located at 6975 Graphics Way, Lewis Center, Ohio, employees were performing framing work on a single story commercial building with a pitch of approximately 6 in 12 and approximately 8 feet in height with no fall protection, thereby exposing the employees to a fall hazard.
