29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) FCS Construction, LLC at 3787 Talisman Place, Boulder, Colorado: On or about 11/14/2018 the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet or more above a lower level was protected from falling. There were 4 employees working on the roof of a two story town home with harnesses that were not tied off. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards. b) FCS Construction, LLC at 3835 Talisman Place, Boulder, Colorado: On or about 11/14/2018 the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet or more above a lower level was protected from falling. There were 4 employees working on the roof of a two story town home without harnesses or fall protection of any kind. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards.
