29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a) Roberts Manufacturing, Co. Inc. located at 24338 Road 148 in Oakwood, Ohio; On or about November 7, 2018 the employer did not ensure the point of operation of the W.F. Wells Horizontal Band Saw was adequately guarded. An employee suffered an amputation injury while attempting to pull out a piece of cut steel that had fallen flat in the path of the traveling blade.
