29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. On October 19, 2018 at approximately 9:30pm, an employee working on a drilling rig fell and was hospitalized for a fractured pelvis and ribs. The hospitalization was not reported within 24 hours to the local Area Offices of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The hospitalization was reported online on October 22, 2018 at approximately 9:02am and received by the Lubbock Area Office at approximately 10:03am.
