29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Worksite was located at 17 E 53rd Street, Bayonne, NJ 07002 Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 19 feet as they were working in close proximity to the leading edge of a flat roof doing drainage work with no fall protection on and no guardrails in place. Violation was observed on or about December 3rd, 2018.
