29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms are more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from another scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface were not used. Crossbraces were used as a means of access. On 12/5/2018, employees from Vehige Bricklaying, Inc. were performing masonry work onto a commercial building located at 812-898 Luetkenhaus Boulevard, Wentzville, MO. Employees did not have sufficient scaffold access to the upper working levels of the scaffold system. Employees were climbing on the crossbracing to access the lower and upper levels.

On 12/5/2018, employees from Vehige Bricklaying, Inc. were performing masonry work on a commercial building located at 812-898 Luetkenhaus Boulevard, Wentzville, MO.
