29 CFR 1910.178(k)(1): The brakes of highway truck(s) were not set and wheel chocks placed under the rear wheels to prevent truck(s) from rolling: (a) Swire Coca-Cola of Pueblo, Pueblo CO: On or about December 4, 2018, and at times prior, employees were potentially exposed to struck by or caught between hazards due to wheel chocks not being placed under rear wheels to prevent trucks from rolling. An independent contractor was observed sitting in their truck while a Swire employee drove a forklift into the truck while wheel chocks were not in place and no other control was in place to prevent the truck from leaving. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
