Flexible cords shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws.  Location: 341 Washington Ave., Belleville, NJ.  a) Employer did not ensure that the electrical cord used by employees to power a circular saw was provided with strain relief; on or about 12/3/18.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b).  Location: 341 Washington Ave., Belleville, NJ.  a) Employees were working on a residential roof without any means of fall protection.  The employees were exposed to a potential fall hazard of up to 20 ft. to the ground below; on or about 12/3/18.
