29 CFR 1926.96: The employer did not ensure employees wore proper footwear which meets the requirements and specifications in American National Standard for Men's Safety-Toe Footwear, Z41.1-1967. Open toed footwear was worn by employees carrying lumber, rebar, tools and other heavy construction materials. An employee was exposed to struck by and crushed by hazards.
