29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, shall be rigged such that an employee can neither free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level: a. On or about December 4, 2018 on the rooftop of Building 36F located at One Stanton Street Marinette, WI 54143, an employee's personal fall arrest system was not adjusted to prevent the employee from being able to free-fall 6 feet. The employee was using a 30' rope grab system and it was adjusted to allow him to fall approximately 25 feet to the lower level resulting in injuries to both feet.
