In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification is required for this violation.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purposes for which they were designed. a) West roof edge, 511 North Main Street, Plains Township, PA - Employees utilized a Tie Down Engineering TranzSporter Lift Hoist Model TP250 for roof access and egress that was not designed/intended for use as a personnel ladder exposing the employees to a fall hazard that ranged between one (1) foot and twenty (20) foot, as observed on or about December 12, 2018. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation.
