29 CFR 1910.253(d)(3)(vii): Oxygen piping and fittings were not washed out with a suitable solution which would effectively remove grease and dirt but would not react with oxygen: On or about December 10, 2018 and times prior thereto, the employer did not wash the interior of copper tubing with a solution to effectively remove grease and oil that was being installed to carry industrial grade oxygen to supply the brazing torches in the brazing department. This exposes employees to fire or explosion from oil contamination inside the copper lines supplying oxygen.
