29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) On or about 11/29/18, during the construction and renovation of a new Family Dollar Store, located on 38 Spencerport Road, in Rochester, New York, employees installing a new metal roof were not protected from falling 14 feet to ground level by use of personal fall arrest systems or other conventional fall protection. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
