29 CFR 1910.141(a)(4)(ii): All sweepings, solid or liquid wastes, refuse, and garbage were not removed in such a manner as to avoid creating a menace to health and as often as necessary or appropriate to maintain the place of employment in a sanitary condition:    a) This violation was observed on December 13, 2018, where employees were exposed to inhalation hazards from excess dust in the cutting and assembly departments.

29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Each circular hand-fed ripsaw was not guarded by a hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut:    a)  This violation was observed on or about December 13, 2017, where employees were not protected from the point of operation while operating the table saws without a hood.      1)  Two (2) Grizzley 10-inch left table saws located in the cutting room;   2)  One Kraftsman table saw located in the assembly room.

29 CFR 1910.213(c)(2): Each hand-fed circular ripsaw was not furnished with a spreader to prevent material from squeezing the saw or being thrown back on the operator. The spreader was not attached so that it will remain in true alignment with the saw even when either the saw or table is tilted. The provision of a spreader in connection with grooving, dadoing, or rabbeting is not required. On the completion of such operations, the spreader will be immediately replaced:  a) This violation was observed on or about December 13, 2017, where employees operated table saws without the use of a spreader.    1)  Two (2) Grizzley 10-inch left table saws located in the cutting room;  2)  One Kraftsman table saw located in the assembly room.
