29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge: a) Rear Entrance P1, on or about 12/14/18: Emergency exit door was not able to be opened due to snow being piled up in front of the door preventing free and unobstructed escape in the event of a fire or other emergency. b) Rear Entrance P2, on or about 12/14/18: Emergency exit door was not able to be opened due to snow being piled up in front of the door preventing free and unobstructed escape in the event of a fire or other emergency. c) Renaissance Area, on or about 12/14/18: Emergency exit door was not able to be opened due to snow being piled up in front of the door preventing free and unobstructed escape in the event of a fire or other emergency. d) Pinnacle Area P2, on or about 12/14/18: Emergency exit door was found to be in a locked position preventing free and unobstructed escape in the event of a fire or other emergency. The Pinnacle Moving & Storage, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.36(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1052408, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/3/15, with respect to a workplace located at 26206 NYS Route 37, Watertown, NY 13601
