In each case, any utility company which is involved shall be notified in advance.  a) Gilman 101 Development LLC at 1221 Main Street Minturn, CO 81645: On or before 12-13-18, the employer did not ensure that all utility lines had been shut off prior to demolition. Gas lines and electrical lines were live during the demolition of homes and trailers. A live gas line was struck when a brick from a home located at 1221 Main Street fell onto the gas line, cutting the line, and dispersing natural gas into the air. This exposed employees to fire and explosion hazards.

The employer hired subcontractors to demolish these homes but did not notify the subcontractors of asbestos being present prior to demolition. This exposed employees to respiratory hazards involving asbestos.
