29 CFR 1910.178(l): Operators were not trained in the safe operation of powered industrial trucks. on 18 December 2018 at Ball's Food Stores located at 6831 East 39th Street ,Kansas City, Missouri 64129, employees were exposed to serious caught-in, crushing and or struck-by injuries, in that the forklift operators had not completed a competent training program. Training provided to the employees failed to meet the requirements of OSHA standard 1910.178(l) powered industrial trucks, operator training. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
