29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):  Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:    a)  On December 19, 2018, employees using electrical power saws were not wearing safety glasses, thereby exposing the employees to hazards associated with eye injury.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1926.304(f): Section 4.1.2(b) American National Standards Institute 01.1-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery as adopted by 29 CFR 1926.304(f):  Circular hand-fed ripsaws were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely encloses that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut:    a)  On December 18, 2018, a Dewalt table saw was not equipped with a blade guard when used to rip lumber.    b)  On December 18, 2018, a Rigid miter saw was not equipped with a blade guard when used to rip lumber.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
