29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i)(C): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by a personal fall protection systems, such as personal fall arrest, travel restraint, or positioning systems: Lint collector on the roof; The employer did not ensure that employees who clean out the lint collector, located within a few feet from the roof's edge, use a personal fall arrest system each time they perform this task. In the winter months, this area is often icy, due to the use of a water hose to clean the collector.

29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: Production Area: On or about 12/19/18, the employer required employees to use compressed air that was not reduced to under 30 p.s.i. to blow down lint dust from machines and surfaces throughout production. The pipe fitting used as an air nozzle was measured at approximately 40 p.s.i. and did not have a trigger to start and stop the air flow. It ran continuously while attached to the hose.
