29 CFR 1926.1412(d)(1): A competent person did not begin a visual inspection of the crane prior to each shift the equipment was used or did not complete it before or during that shift: A. on or about 12/14/18, at the site of 118-29 201st Place, Saint Albans NY A crane truck used to hoist building material to a house. The crane collapsed and struck the house. The employer did not conduct a visual inspection of the crane prior to use. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
