29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) An employee walking/working from a second (2nd) floor patio deck was not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed the employee to a fall hazard of approximately (11) feet, two (2) inches. The 4G plastering company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 987765, citation number 1 item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/13/14, with respect to a workplace location at 7942 91st Ave., Kenosha, WI 53158.
