29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section except when: a) 1730 Ridge Avenue: The employer did not ensure that a protective system was installed inside an excavation that was approximately 11 feet deep 55 feet in length and 17 feet in width to protect the employees from caught-in-between and or cave-in hazards. Condition was observed on or about 21 DEC 2018.
