29 CFR 1910.138(b): The employer did not base selection of appropriate hand protection on an evaluation of the performance characteristics of the hand protection relative to the tasks to be performed, conditions present, duration of use, and the hazards and potential hazards identified:  (a)  HANOVER FOODS FACILITY, HANOVER, PA - Employees replaced liquid propane fuel tanks on the forklifts that are operated in the facility, and the employer did not provide the correct style of gloves to protect employees from potential hazards associated with the handling of the liquid propane gas, on or about December 4, 2018.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
