29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed:  At this facility, unused openings in electrical equipment were discovered in the overflow area on the southeast side of the shop in the following instances:  a.  Right side of #6 MIG Welding Machine Square D safety switch box; and, b.  Front panel of the electrical breaker box labeled LP-4 / VIA LDP-1 / CKT #1-3-5.  Brandon Welding and Fabrication, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1233029, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 17, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 9002 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Texas 78409.
