29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s): (a) On or about December 10, 2018, Buildings By Design, LLC., as the controlling employer, did not maintain an effective program which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment by a competent person. Employees of Montes Construction, LLC., a subcontractor, were exposed to fall hazards of up to 26 feet while conducting metal roof decking installation activities without proper fall protection systems. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
