29 CFR 1910.268(b)(7): Approach distances to exposed energized overhead power lines and parts. The employer shall ensure that no employee approaches or takes any conductive object closer to any electrically energized overhead power lines and parts than prescribed in Table R-2: a) On or about December 28, 2018 at the job site where employees were exposed to electrical hazards when using an aerial lift to lower a fiber optic line without ensuring an approach distance of 36 inches was maintained for power lines carrying 19 KV.
