29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.9(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average(TWA) sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent: Facility: The employer had not included any of the following employees exposed to noise level above a time wright average (TWA) sound level of 85 dBA in continuing and effective hearing conservation program. The main saw operator was exposed to continuous noise at 130.9 % of the permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 91.9 dBA during the 539 minutes sampling period on February 25, 2019 exposure calculations included a zero increment for the 1 minute not sampled. A machine operator was exposed to continuous noise at 156.4 % of the permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 93.2 dBA during the 525 minutes sampling period on February 25, 2019 exposure calculations included a zero increment for the 15 minute not sampled. .
