Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On 1/3/2019, workers from Nappier Construction, LLC dba Shingle Tech LLC were working on a commercial building located at 301 West Front Street, Washington, MO. The exposed employees were working on the roof with a 6/12 pitch, which was approximately 12 feet above the ground.
