29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On 1/3/2019, workers from Nappier Construction, LLC dba Shingle Tech LLC were working on a commercial building located at 301 West Front Street, Washington, MO.  The exposed employees were working on the roof with a 6/12 pitch, which was approximately 12 feet above the ground.  The employees were not using a guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems exposing them to a fall to the ground below.

The program did not enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and did not train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.  On 1/3/2019, workers from Nappier Construction, LLC dba Shingle Tech LLC were working on a commercial building located at 301 West Front Street, Washington, MO.  The employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately twelve feet above the ground. The employer did not provide a training program for each employee in recognition and minimization of fall hazards.

On 1/3/2019, workers from Nappier Construction, LLC dba Shingle Tech LLC were working on a commercial building located at 301 West Front Street, Washington, MO. The employer did not verify compliance that fall protection training had been completed for employees exposed to fall hazards by preparing a written certification record documenting that the training was conducted.
