29 CFR 1926.34(c): "Maintenance and workmanship." Means of egress was not continually maintained free of all obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other emergency: location: 1st floor, scaffold area near stairwell B on or about: 1/9/19 a) Employees were engaged in masonry work from a tubular welded frame scaffold. The means of egress was not maintained. There were pallets or mason block and other materials impeding on the means of egress. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
