The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.404(b)(2): Outlet devices had an ampere rating less than the load to be served and did not comply with the paragraphs (i) thru (iii) of this section: a) Job Site - On or about January 16, 2019, the load rating of an energized 15A relocatable power tap was exceeded when multiple plug-and-cord equipment, such as a DeWalt metal cut-off saw (15A), a Defiant In-Line GFCI (15A), an extension cord (15A), and three (3) Makita battery chargers were plugged into it. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.404(b)(1)(i): The employer did not use either ground fault circuit interrupters as specified in paragraph (b)(1)(ii) of this section or an assured equipment grounding conductor program as specified in paragraph (b)(1)(iii) of this section to protect employees on construction sites: a) Job Site - On or about January 16, 2019, employees were observed using a DeWalt metal chop-saw plugged into a relocatable power tap, in turn being energized by a red extension cord, and were not protected by a GFCI or an assured equipment grounding conductor program. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
