The guarding device shall be in conformity with any appropriate standards therefore, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle. a) Envelop Press Department - On or about 1/07/2019, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards, in that no method of machine guarding was provided for rotating parts of machinery when employees were working with 202 WD Envelop Press machine (Serial # 13139 & Model #202) and exposed to in-running nip point hazards.
