29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:    On or about January 17, 2019, at the edge of a roof on the west exterior elevation of a building located at 5785 SE Pinehurst Trail in Hobe Sound, Florida, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 14 feet when applying grout between masonry wall capstones at the unprotected edge of a walking/working surface prior to being provided with a training program that would enable them to recognize the hazards associated with falls.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    On or about January 17, 2019, at the edge of a roof on the west exterior elevation of a building located at 5785 SE Pinehurst Trail in Hobe Sound, Florida, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 14 feet when applying grout between masonry wall capstones at the unprotected edge of a walking/working surface while not being protected from falling to the lower level.    T. Escobar Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(15), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1159305, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/18/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 297 Sparrow Hawk Drive in Groveland, Florida 34736.
