29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about January 17, 2018, at the south edge of a roof on the west exterior elevation of a building located at 5785 SE Pinehurst Trail in Hobe Sound, Florida, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 14 feet when installing a terrace door and side light near the unprotected edge of a walking/working surface while not being protected from falling.
