29 CFR 1910.264(d)(2)(i)(a): Operating Rules, Mechanical, Safety Guards. No safeguard, safety appliance, or device attached to, or forming an integral part of any machinery shall be removed or made ineffective except for the purpose of making immediate repairs or adjustments. Any such safeguard, safety appliance, or device removed or made ineffective during the repair or adjustment of such machinery shall be replaced immediately upon the completion of such repairs or adjustments: Employees are exposed to injury from a burn hazard. Employees operating the pants press are exposed to burns due to hot steam not being controlled. The vacuum on the pants press was not maintained in operating condition, nor was it operating as designed allowing steam to be released and contact employees.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the appropriate hazard warnings: Employees working in the dry clean area were exposed to injury/illness from exposure to hazardous chemicals. Containers of cleaning chemicals located at the presses and work stations were not labeled with the identity of the chemical or with an appropriate hazard warning. Employees were exposed to chemicals including, but not limited to Semi-Wet, Laundry Targo, Easy Out and Rust to Go.
