29 CFR 1910.95(g)(5)(i): The employer did not establish, within 6 months of an employee's first exposure at or above the action level, a valid baseline audiogram against which subsequent audiograms can be compared: a. A Trim Saw Operator was exposed to a noise dose of 286.1%, or an equivalent dBA of 97.5 dBA, which was capable of causing permanent hearing loss. The sampling was performed for 419 minutes during one shift on January 23, 2019. The employer did not provide baseline audiograms for employees that performed this task. b. A Custom Pallet Builder was exposed to a noise dose of 152.7%, or an equivalent dBA of 93.0 dBA, which was capable of causing permanent hearing loss. The sampling was performed for 421 minutes during one shift on January 23, 2019. The employer did not provide baseline audiograms for employees that performed this task. c. A Band Saw Operator was exposed to a noise dose of 139.1%, or an equivalent dBA of 92.3 dBA, which was capable of causing permanent hearing loss. The sampling was performed for 419 minutes during one shift on January 23, 2019. The employer did not provide baseline audiograms for employees that performed this task. d. A Repair Pallet Builder was exposed to a noise dose of 113.1%, or an equivalent dBA of 90.8 dBA, which was capable of causing permanent hearing loss. The sampling was performed for 423 minutes during one shift on January 23, 2019. The employer did not provide baseline audiograms for employees that performed this task.
