29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i): Unguarded projecting shaft ends did not present a smooth edge and projected more than one-half the diameter of the shaft:  (a)  Leprino Foods 2400 East Beaver Avenue, Fort Morgan, CO 80701:  On or before 01-16-19, the employer did not ensure that a shaft end on the SEM conveyor was guarded. The shaft projected 3/4 inch from the external frame of the conveyor and measured approximately 3/4 inch in diameter. The edge of the shaft was not smooth in that a keyway projected from the end of the shaft. This condition exposed employees to the hazard of getting caught in the rotating part.
