29 CFR 1926.651(i)(3): Sidewalks, pavements, or appurtenant structures had been undermined and a support system or another method was not provided to protect employees from the possible collapse of such structures: a) 234 Old Baltimore Pike, Newark,DE - On or about January 25, 2019, the employer failed to ensure that pavement was not undermined and that employees were protected from possible collapse. An employee standing at the edge of an excavation sustained serious injury when the undermined portion of the excavation collapsed.
