29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.   a) 27 Butler Dr., Barnegat NJ:  On or about January 7, 2019, Puma Construction, LLC. employees were conducting framing activities installing trusses on a new construction residential home.  Three employees were observed installing trusses on the top of the first floor framing on a residential property.  There were no guardrails in place and the employee was not using any form of fall protection.  The employee was exposed to fall hazards of greater than 9 feet to the ground below.     NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
